And if you are a coming with kids, this especially applies to you. There are no cars on this island whatsoever. You’ll find few tractors, electric bikes, small golf cars and even buggies. But no cars. Therefore, leave all your worries about traffic at home. It is easily reachable by our regular ferry called Postira. Ferry schedule for the year 2020 is available here<\/a>. You can buy tickets in the Jadrolinija office<\/a> which is located in Gru\u017e port, or online<\/a>. The cost of a return ticket is HRK 46 (around EUR 6 ), and you can pay it only in Croatian currency. For children, up to 3 years of age ferry is free of charge, and those from 3 to 12 years of age have a 50% discount. The ferry starts its trip just across the road of the Jadrolinija office. You should also know that this ferry is a piece of history and has a big impact on our lives. \u201cShe\u201d is a 57 years old \u201clady\u201d which connects the Elaphiti islands with the mainland. Her salon scent and retro look will take you back in time.<\/p>\n You can get to Dubrovnik by plane, bus or car. Our airport is situated 22 km away from Dubrovnik, and from here you can take a shuttle bus<\/a> (~45kn), or taxi (you can check out Plavi taxi<\/a>, Cammeo taxi<\/a>, Eko taxi<\/a>,\u00a0Dubrovnik taxi<\/a>, Uber<\/a> and Bolt<\/a>) to the main bus station.\u00a0The main Dubrovnik bus station<\/a> is located in the Gru\u017e district (you have a short walk to Jadrolinija office). The first ferry departs at 10:00 a.m. (at 9:00 or 9:30 on Sundays, depending on the time of the year). Grab a seat on the upper deck early, and you will have a beautiful view of the surroundings. Most of the shops and restaurants accept cards, but some of them don\u2019t. Most caffe bars and pastry shops except cash only. If you need to exchange euros on the island, you can do it in the Post office.<\/a>\u00a0In summertime two grocery stores are open, with a basic choice of groceries and cosmetics. However, you can’t buy everything there, including meat products.
