Hi, we are family Mihajlovic. We have been hosts on the Island of Lopud for more than 50 years and we love it!<\/span><\/p>\n The owners of the house are Ivo and Fikreta Mihajlovi\u0107. Ivo\u00a0was born on Lopud in 1940s and has been living here all of his life. So, he’s the best person to talk to if you want a fun history lesson. He might event take out his guitar and try to entertain you singing old Dalmatian songs of love and sea.<\/span><\/p>\n Fikreta moved here from Bosnia in her 20s after falling in love with Ivo. She’ll be the one who’ll great you with homemade cake and lemonade and help you with everything in your apartment. Fikreta loves to grow vegetables and fruits, so prepare to be amazed by yummy organic treats from the family garden that surrounds the house.<\/span><\/p>\n You’ll probably talk to their daughter Beti long before you get to the island, since she manages all the bookings. She’ll be happy to help you with any questions you might have.\u00a0<\/span>Ivo & Fikreta’s son Dino also helps around the house, so he’ll probably be the first person you’ll meet on<\/span> the island. Dino will wait for you in the harbour and take you to your Lopud holiday home. Having stayed here previously in 2018, I had such a good memory that, while planning my first trip post pandemic, was inspired to return! As before, I would say the outstanding feature of this apartment is the beautiful view and comfortable terrace. Perfect for chilling out with a book, glass of wine, meal. It is also very peaceful, set up on a hill a few minutes from the sea front, surrounded by lush greenery, and the vegetable garden owned by Beti’s family. Beti’s Mum was very hospitable. Would recommend Lopud if you are interested in walking along forest trails, sandy beaches, and relaxing in an atmosphere with no cars, mopeds, loud music. Expect to keep fit, as there are steps everywhere. (88 steps to Beti’s apt alone!) The season seems to start in May. I found on my recent visit quite a number of restaurants and shops were open. Tags\u00fcber ist viel Volk zu betrachten, aufgrund der Tagestouristen, abends wird es sehr ruhig. Having stayed here previously in 2018, I had such a good memory that, while planning my first trip post pandemic, was inspired to return! As before, I would say the outstanding feature of this apartment is the beautiful view and comfortable terrace. Perfect for chilling out with a book, glass of wine, meal. It is also very peaceful, set up on a hill a few minutes from the sea front, surrounded by lush greenery, and the vegetable garden owned by Beti’s family. Beti’s Mum was very hospitable. Would recommend Lopud if you are interested in walking along forest trails, sandy beaches, and relaxing in an atmosphere with no cars, mopeds, loud music. Expect to keep fit, as there are steps everywhere. (88 steps to Beti’s apt alone!) The season seems to start in May. I found on my recent visit quite a number of restaurants and shops were open.
